Health & Safety

  • MIXING MORTAR: Dry or damp cement and wet concrete/mortar can cause irritation and burns to eyes and skin. Suitable eye protection and PVC gloves should be worn when handling these materials. If contact with skin does occur, wash off with plenty of water. If contact with eyes occurs, irrigate with plenty of water. If irritation/burning persists, seek immediate medical attention.
    .
  • CUTTING: The cutting of concrete, clay and stone products with high speed cutters produces dust. Inhalation of excessive amounts of
dust over a long period of time may cause long-term health effects. Suitable eye protection (safety goggles) and respiratory protection (dust mask) should be used when cutting.
